Chi McBride, Gabrielle Anwar and Bow Wow to Star in Driving Lessons++ | 27 Feb 2008 | by Larrissa |

NEW YORK -- Max Thieriot, Bow Wow, Evan Ross, Chi McBride and Gabrielle Anwar will star in and Selma Blair is in final negotiations to join the indie black comedy "Driving Lessons."
Thieriot ("Kit Kittredge: An American Girl") will play the religious, right-wing teenage son of Bunnie (Hope Davis), a woman given a second chance at her unhappy marriage to Jack (Dermot Mulroney) after losing her memory. It conveniently helps her forget an interracial affair with her burly next-door neighbor Simon (McBride).
Blair will play a sarcastic lesbian high school teacher having an affair with a student (Madeline Zima). Anwar will play Jack's sexy, power-crazed co-worker, and Brittany Robertson is cast as his sexually adventurous daughter.
Ross will play Simon's son, and actor-rapper Bow Wow and Jermaine Williams will play wannabe thugs who complicate everyone's lives. John Patrick Amedori also stars.
Vivi Friedman's feature debut is based on an original screenplay by Mark Lisson. J. Todd Harris, Allan Jones and Lisson will produce the project, set to begin principal photography next month in Los Angeles.

Bow Wow walkin' the walk on 'Face Off' | 29 Jan 2008 | by Larrissa |

Rapper Bow Wow isn't shy about touting his own projects. But the 20-year-old rapper does it slyly, with just a hint of cockiness. So when he calls "Face Off," his new album with Omarion, a "masterpiece," it doesn't raise any eyebrows.
"There was chemistry right away between me and O," said Bow Wow, born Shad Gregory Moss.
"Anytime you get the chance to work with people you're cool with or you get the chance to work with someone who respects the game just as much as you respect it, nine times out of 10 you'll come up with a masterpiece. That's what me and O came out with."
His and Omarion's album "Face Off" dropped Dec. 11 in the early part of Bow Wow's co-headlining tour with Chris Brown, which hit Joe Louis Arena Dec. 8. Due to an injured hand and subsequent hospitalization, Bow Wow pulled out of the gig. But he is scheduled to appear again Saturday at The Palace of Auburn Hills with Brown and Soulja Boy.

Chris Brown, Bow Wow Joined By 50 Cent, Diddy, More At Madison Square Garden Show | 19 Jan 2008 | by Ladonna |

Lil Mama, Soulja Boy opened the show, which featured a jet plane, holograms, dance-offs, cartoons, Omarion and G-Unit.
NEW YORK — If you're gonna close a show, close a show. After Lil Mama, Soulja Boy and Bow Wow successfully made the throngs of youngsters at Madison Square Garden scream and dance Thursday night, Chris Brown topped them all by bringing out about half a dozen guests onstage with him.
Most of them didn't even have to physically be there to make an impact (more on that later). But three stars — who happen to be as perennially loved in New York as the Giants (at least when Eli Manning isn't turning over the ball) — did show up live and in living color: Diddy came out for "All About the Benjamins" and "Last Night," while Juelz "Stunting Hard in My White Mink Coat" Santana made a surprise cameo on "Run It."
Probably the biggest surprise entrance of the night was that of the G-Unit's Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and, of course, 50 Cent, who once again shook the building with "I Get Money."
The last time 50 hit the Garden, as you may remember, he was onstage with Jay-Z, Kanye West, T.I., Diddy, Swizz Beatz and Ciara in a very impromptu but magical historic hip-hop moment last August.

In case you haven't noticed, Bow Wow is no longer the lil' tyke in an oversized Cleveland Browns jersey. These days he's a 20-year old man -- soon to be 21 --who's one of the most consistent performers in music.
No bitter former child hip-hop star here.
"You have to stick to what you know,'' Bow Wow said. "(Yet), even though my fans are getting older, you have to stay current to make music that's current. That's the tough part about starting out young because when you get older, the music and the topics that you started out with, you have to transition.''
Bow Wow keeps his rhymes edgy with plenty of hood and high-roller glamour, but he leaves out gangster or excessively profane lyrics -- for the most part.

BOW WOW & OMARION TELL HOW THEY ALMOST LOST THEIR "GIRLFRIEND" | 02 Dec 2007 | by Larrissa |

With Omarion and Bow Wow's current single "Girlfriend" gaining heavy airplay on Urban radio charts, the duo said that they almost didn't put the song on their album, Face Off.
Omarion recently revealed to us how the record was left on the back burner. "Actually, I didn't even really want to record the song. It was a whole bunch of records we had and it was the pile when we hear the record 'We wanna do it now' then it's the other pile 'Eh. It's okay, we'll wait, we'll go back to it' and that record was actually in that pile 'We'll wait, we'll go to it.'"
As far as hitting the road to support the album, Omarion and Bow plan to sell out arenas next summer. "Next year we're definitely linking up for the Face Off Tour. We're going to do our arena tour being that, me and O, every time we tour, we tour in the summer. Summer's our time."
Until then, the two will release their first collaborative effort Face Off on December 11th.
